How do you stop a rain drop from falling?

How do you stop a snow flake from melting on your tongue?

How do you stop the waves from crashing into your castle?

How do you stop the thunder from scaring all the dogs?

How do you get the sun to hold onto it’s rays?

How do you get the earth to stop spinning around the sun?

There are some things we cannot stop, slow down or control.

Children are like waves, like thunder and rays of sunshine.

They come with force, without apology and without control.

They live as they were meant to; free.

They live by the rhythm of their soul, not the rigid scheduling of society.

Children are yet another example of how we try to change what is natural.

Trying to alter the natural process of development has never had a positive impact on our planet.

Why are we trying to teach children to fit into a society so broken the earth below our feet crumbles?

We can’t teach children what we don’t know.

But they know, they know like the sun, the rain and the spinning stars.

They just know.
