We are a family of 8- dad, mom, 21f and 19m year old working adults living at home, 13m, 7f, 5m, and 3f- running a 1st generation farm and handyman business. Our 7 year old has a brain lipoma and medical issues from that- the bills and necessities are paid, but that’s it. We fall between the cracks for being self-employed/farming, and encouraged to try sharing an Amazon wish list to make this Christmas special. On that list is some of the younger kids “wants” and household things we use often.
Warm socks/slipper socks for all (adult sizes large 8-12 for men and medium 9/10 for women, kid size youth medium) as we have concrete floors. Dad could use waterproof, grippy, work gloves. I don’t know what typically goes in stockings- the kids are not picky at all.

Hi, we’re a family from Kentucky! We have nine beautiful children from 16-2, one’s birthday is also on Christmas Eve. Our son was diagnosed with IIH a couple months ago and has been in and out of the hospital. He’s 7, and is losing his vision. This may very well be the last chiristmas he can see! His insurance doesn’t cover the medicine and it’s all out of pocket, it’s over $1,000 a month. We are barely seeing our other children and would love it if you could help make their Christmas.

I am glad I found this little website because I never had a local salvation army near me that does the official “angel trees.” This year, as a single dad who lost his job ten months ago and still hasn’t found a replacement, I know my little family could really benefit from an angel tree. My wonderful, amazing daughter is 14 years old. This has been a very financially challenging year for us. It’s just us in our household :).
daughter only has 1 single thing on her Christmas wishlist- a new pair of ice skates. I don’t exactly know how she’s done it, but she has used skates that are at least 1/2 a size too small all year. It hurt my heart to see that she just put 1 item down on her list, one item that she has needed for over a year. There is something devastating about seeing that your child understands finances at such a young age. I remember when she was a little girl + would be writing multi-page letters to Santa.

4 year old girl and 18 month old boy. We spent 4 months in the hospital when our son was born premature. I had to have an emergency hysterectomy to save my life at his birth. All of the bills and loans from that have caught up to us, we have made therapy a priority and we are drowning financially now.

Boy(6) girl (7) single mother/nursing student trying hard to provide. 2 years ago my son suffered a sudden rare blood clot in his brain that has left him permanently disabled. Due to his current health/medical issues I’m unable to work. He has multiple seizures a day so childcare for him isn’t possible. Not working because I can’t, not because I don’t want to. I have 4 amazing kids 6,10,15& 17. After a very hard custody battle and cps/dcyf involved removing my children from their abusive grandma/dad I’m not left with a lot of savings as all of their clothes, toys , medical equipment were given away , stolen or sold. Our family has been struggling this past year with having lost my job because I was pregnant and now we are on the verge of becoming homeless because we can’t afford rent even with my partner constantly working odd job after odd job we just can’t seem to stay caught up. Family of 4. We are so fortunate to have have a beautiful 15 year old daught who is physically and mentally disabled. And one son who is 11 and just the best help and great kid over all. I work for the school system and my husband is an Emergency room nurse. Recently I had to schedule an emergency hysterectomy. We’re a family of 5. Our oldest is 6 and our twins just turned 3. My husband is a worship pastor and I am an independent broker for health insurance. I used to work in the hospital in surgery but when we had our surprise twins I had to take a step back because daycare/school is expensive for 3 kids. 1 boy (19yo) 3 girls (16, 14, 12) I have been unemployed through no fault of my own for a full year now. I have two degrees and have worked in government my whole adult life. Finding a job right now feels impossible. Yes, I’ve tried DoorDash, fast food, retail, all of it – I am a hustler by nature and don’t have a lazy bone in my body. I am also a Domestic Violence Survivor, still co-parenting with my abuser and trying to keep my girls shielded from his abuse, through a broken court system.
